Sinem SerapWith over 15 years of experience in the technology sector, Sinem brings a wealth of knowledge to the intersection of human cognition and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Team Manager at Atos, Sinem leads a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers, Architects, and Data Scientists.
Prior to joining Atos, Sinem held various technical roles at Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent, and Nortel, where she gained hands-on experience in network architecture, design management, and customer support. Her work has spanned multiple continents, leading international project teams and providing technical training and workshops. Sinem has also had the unique experience of serving as a Research Engineer at Arizona State University's biomedical laboratory, offering a multidisciplinary perspective on technology and human biology.
Alongside her duties at Atos, Sinem is currently enrolled as a PhD student at the University of Copernicus as part of the Implementation Doctorate program. Her PhD proposal received the highest ranking by the Ministry of Science and Education in all of Poland. Her research interests include the development of brain-machine interfaces for restoring neurological function, the neuronal basis of error-related potentials, and emerging neurotechnologies.
Sinem is excited to bring her insights to this year's Bydgoszcz IT conference. Her keynote, "Real Brains in Artificial Worlds," promises to challenge and inspire as it explores how we can unlock the untapped potential of human cognition in an age increasingly dominated by artificial intelligence.
